Meet this beautifully unusual dead-stock gem of a fabric!

A midweight fabric with a linenlike texture base and the most gorgeous felted squares dancing across the surface. Each square has a delicate squiggle pattern, creating a richly tactile look in eye-catching shades of turquoise, purple and green on a deep black background. It has all the visual charm of a felted wool layered over linen, and it truly looks and feels luxurious.

The underside is soft touch with a wonderfully warm brushed fleece surface and thanks to the felted detailing on top, the fabric has a lovely natural structure. It’s perfect for jackets, tops, skirts, waistcoats/vests, heavier trousers and bag making – or even a more structured coat or statement dress.

This fabric has been turning heads all day on the shop table while I’ve been unwrapping other fabric , and I honestly don’t think it’s going to stay around for long. If you love something a bit different and beautifully tactile, this one is an absolute must-see.
