This is a stunning deadstock fabric that was made in Italy for a high end designer here in the UK.

Pastel lemon and white gingham made up in a slightly pronounced weave that adds a wonderful texture and appearance. It’s a mid to heavier weight fabric, making it perfect for skirts, jackets, dresses, tops etc

It is reminiscent of a heavy linen but is actually a blend of cotton, polyester, viscose and elastane. The polyester and viscose element means it’s very soft and has a bit of drape.  The elastane gives a very slight stretch which is great for ease of wear.

I can imagine little jackets, Aline skirts, culottes, dungarees and dresses. It’s perfect for BIG puff sleeves as the cotton element and weight of the fabric adds a bit of structure.

60% cotton, 33% polyester, 6% viscose, 1% elastane.
