  • 100 BUILT-IN STITCHES – all the necessary stitches that are perfect for dressmaking, crafting, patchwork, quilting etc 

  • 7 STYLES OF AUTO 1 STEP BUTTONHOLE – easy to use…simply put your button in the buttonhole foot, pull down the buttonhole lever and the machine cleverly stitches your buttonhole to the exact size required. Full instructions are in the user guide provided with the machine.

  • AUTO THREAD CUTTER (SCISSORS BUTTON) – no need for scissors or snips.

  • START/STOP BUTTON – Traditionally, this button is used for long seams. You press the button to sew without the presser foot, so you can relax and focus on your seams.

    This great feature can also be used to slow down the needle speed at the beginnng and end of seams, when you may have to pay special attention to hems or other fabric issues. At the beginning of a seam, simply press and hold to slowly accelerate up to your set speed. At the end, press and hold to slow down, then release to stop. This useful feature is a Janome Exclusive!
