The background of this lawn is very pale biscuit colour (warm ivory), with watercolour effect flowers in fuchsia and magenta. Fresh green leaves mingle amongst the flowers.  The overall effect is quite striking.

Cotton lawns are soft and fine, so it has a slight drape but still has some structure to it.  This means that it’s a great fabric for gathers, tiers, voluminous sleeves, collars etc
