Description
This absolutely beautiful viscose fabric is full of fluidity and movement. It’s wonderfully soft to the touch and drapes effortlessly, with a very subtle crinkle texture running through the fabric that adds interest without overpowering the design.
Woven throughout is a fine gold Lurex stripe, spaced at approximately 1.5cm intervals. The shimmer is delicate and understated - not bold or flashy - but catches the light beautifully and gives the fabric that little something extra.
The print itself is a small, on-trend floral that works perfectly all year round. This fabric is ideal for floaty garments where movement really matters, such as tops, dresses, skirts, wide-leg trousers and jumpsuits.
From a sewing point of view, this viscose is lovely to work with. The fabric has a soft drape while still feeling manageable, making it a great choice for both confident beginners and more experienced dressmakers. A fine needle and gentle handling will help you get the best finish, especially when sewing garments that really show off the fabric’s movement.
