The Charmed collection by Makower UK is a beautifully detailed range of premium 100% quilting cottons inspired by the magic and mystery of the night sky. Rich jewel tones are paired with celestial motifs, delicate florals and enchanting woodland details, while many of the illustrations feature beautifully drawn cats hidden amongst the designs. Touches of metallic gold catch the light beautifully, adding depth and a subtle shimmer throughout the panel, giving it an elegant, almost ethereal feel.
As you would expect from Makower UK, the quality is exceptional. The cotton has a wonderfully smooth handle with a crisp finish that is a pleasure to sew, making it ideal for patchwork, quilting and a wide variety of creative sewing projects.
The panel features eight beautifully illustrated blocks, each measuring approximately 10” (25cm) square. It makes a wonderful starting point for a quilt, play mat or decorative wall hanging. Simply add sashing, borders or coordinating fabrics from the Charmed collection to create a larger quilt with very little planning, letting the artwork take centre stage. The coordinating fabrics are also available by the metre in 10cm increments and as fat quarter bundles, making it easy to build a full quilt around the panel or use it as a striking centrepiece within your design.
