Description
A wonderfully soft, cosy and beautifully textured bouclé-style tweed in a gorgeous blend of rich damson, plum, soft grey and ivory, with delicate flashes of metallic pink, purple, blueberry and pale gold running throughout.
An interesting mix of chunky, fluffy fibres, finer yarns and shimmering metallic threads creates a wonderfully tactile surface with plenty of depth and character. The subtle sparkle catches the light beautifully without being overpowering, adding a lovely touch of luxury.
This medium to heavyweight fabric has a beautifully soft, fluffy handle with plenty of body and no stretch, making it a gorgeous choice for jackets, coatigans and tailored outerwear. Imagine a classic Chanel-inspired jacket, a relaxed coatigan or even a beautiful winter coat with the appropriate interfacing, interlining and lining.
What makes this fabric particularly special is its versatility. Dress it up for Christmas celebrations, festive gatherings or an evening out, or keep things casual with your favourite jeans and chunky boots. It’s the sort of fabric that can transform even the simplest outfit into something rather special.
The fabric also features an attractive finished selvedge, which could be incorporated as a decorative detail along jacket fronts, cuffs or hems.
This beautiful deadstock fabric is a rather special find, giving you the opportunity to create something unique from a limited quantity of fabric that might otherwise have gone unused.
A gorgeous combination of colour, texture and subtle shimmer, equally at home dressed up for a special occasion or worn casually throughout the colder months.

Care Instructions
As this is a deadstock fabric, the original manufacturer’s care instructions are unavailable, and we have not carried out wash testing.
We strongly recommend professional dry cleaning to preserve the fabric’s beautiful texture, appearance and structure.
Should you wish to explore hand washing as an alternative, we strongly advise testing a small sample before cutting into your fabric.
Cut a 10cm × 10cm square and measure it carefully before washing. Gently wash the sample by hand or on your washing machine’s wool/hand-wash cycle using cool water and a suitable wool detergent. Reshape and dry flat, then measure again once completely dry to check for shrinkage. Be sure to inspect the fluffy fibres, metallic threads and overall texture for any changes.
Please be aware that even if your sample washes successfully, this does not guarantee that the fabric or a finished garment will respond in the same way. Any alternative washing method is undertaken at your own discretion.
Do not tumble dry.
