Description
This is a 100% cotton deadstock fabric from a world-renowned British designer, internationally recognised for distinctive stripe designs and strongly associated with Nottinghamshire. Do you recognise who the designer could be?!
The stripe is woven rather than printed. When you run your fingers across the surface, you can feel a delicate ridged texture within the weave. It has a defined right side, and the reverse is also clean and usable, so it can be used either way depending on your project.
It is 100% cotton, so it is breathable, soft, and comfortable against the skin.
It works well for shirts, blouses, dresses, tops, shorts, wide-leg trousers, summer suits, and lighter tailoring pieces.
It is a cotton poplin weight, with enough structure to hold shape while still remaining easy to wear. It will work well for gathered styles, puff sleeves, and fuller silhouettes, and will still drape comfortably where needed.
It presses cleanly, making it suitable for collars, cuffs, pleats, and tailored details.
Available in two colours: navy and light blue.
