This beautiful yarn dyed check is full of colour, texture and character. Rather than being printed onto the surface, the coloured yarns are dyed before they’re woven together, creating a fabric with wonderful depth and a beautifully distinctive finish. Vibrant fuchsia pinks and rich purple-indigo blues are woven together, while the interplay of coloured threads adds beautiful movement and interest. Subtle raised woven detailing adds another layer of texture, creating a wonderfully tactile finish.
Equally at home in Spring and Summer as it is through Autumn and Winter, this is a wonderfully versatile fabric that works beautifully throughout the year.
Predominantly cotton, it has a beautifully soft handle with just enough body to hold its shape. It presses crisp collars, cuffs and plackets with ease, creates gathers and tiers with gentle definition, and gives puff sleeves, statement sleeves and barrel-leg trousers a little extra structure without ever feeling heavy or stiff.
The addition of viscose and polyester brings softness and gentle movement, making it equally suitable for garments that benefit from a little drape. It would make beautiful dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses, co-ordinates, lightweight jackets and modern trousers.
