Description
A beautifully balanced cotton and viscose blend with a soft yet gently structured handle, offering the best of both fibres. The cotton brings natural body and light structure, while the viscose adds softness, fluidity and a lovely drape against the skin. The result is a fabric that feels comfortable to wear while still holding its shape beautifully.
Woven in a twill construction, it has a subtle diagonal texture that adds depth and a refined finish. This weave also gives the fabric a little more weight than a plain weave, helping it to press neatly into tailored details such as collars, cuffs and button plackets, while still working beautifully for gathers and softer shaping.
The cotton content lends itself well to more voluminous silhouettes — think puff sleeves, tiered skirts and dresses with gentle fullness — while the viscose keeps everything soft and fluid rather than stiff or rigid.
The print is a bold abstract floral, designed in expressive, painterly brushstrokes that feel reminiscent of an oil painting. It has real movement and depth, rather than a traditional floral layout, giving it a modern, artistic feel.
Colour-wise, it’s a vibrant mix of jewel tones: sunshine yellow, burnt orange, scarlet, fuchsia and magenta are balanced with softer peach tones, while emerald green, cobalt blue and turquoise add contrast. Deep black runs through the design, grounding the palette and bringing everything together.
A versatile dressmaking fabric suitable for dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses, jumpsuits and trousers. It works just as well styled for summer with sandals as it does for cooler months paired with boots and tights.
