“Throughout the years I have collected blue and white pottery in all shapes and sizes and just love how the different patterns play off each other when grouped together, creating an energetic and familiar contrast to any room. What fun would it be to make quilts and pillows that create the same effect, or that depict pottery, and this was the inspiration behind Something Blue”.
Tilda collection fabrics and basics are made from premium-quality cotton with a higher thread count, giving a beautifully soft feel while remaining durable and easy to work with. All fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Class 1 certified, making them safe for even the most sensitive uses.
They’re also practical for everyday sewing — machine washable at 40C, suitable for tumble drying, and designed to hold their shape with minimal shrinkage.
These fabrics are produced to high quality standards by an ISO 9001 certified supplier. The supplier is also part of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), supporting more responsible cotton farming with a focus on improved environmental practices and better conditions for farming communities.
