Although described as a viscose satin, this isn’t a high-shine traditional satin. Satin actually refers to the way the fabric is woven rather than the fibre itself. The satin weave creates a smooth surface with a gentle lustre, along with the lovely fluid drape and movement that makes this fabric so wearable.
At 115gsm, it’s light and flowing without feeling overly dressy. Imagine a floaty midi or maxi skirt with a chunky jumper and boots, wide-leg trousers with a simple knit, or a gorgeous blouse or shirt tucked into jeans or tailored trousers. It would also make a fabulous flowing dress – wear it with boots and tights for an everyday autumn look, then dress it up for an evening out.
A lovely choice for dresses, skirts, wide-leg trousers, blouses, shirts and tops, or anything that needs softness, drape and plenty of movement, with just enough lustre to catch the light.
