Description
A beautiful deadstock cotton from a well-known American designer. Originally used for shirt making, but this is one of those fabrics that invites you to think a little wider — I can see it just as happily becoming sundresses, blouses, tops, skirts or easy summer shorts.
This is a 100% cotton seersucker, loved for its gently crinkled surface. Seersucker is woven so that some threads sit looser than others, creating that subtle puckered texture. The beauty of this is not just how lovely it looks, but how practical it is too — the fabric sits slightly away from the skin, making it wonderfully breathable and comfortable to wear, especially in warmer weather.
The print is crisp and playful: a clean white base with royal and navy blue detailing, featuring charming dogs and anchors, with a very fine royal blue stripe running throughout at approximately 5mm intervals. A classic colour palette with a fresh, summery feel — full of character without being overpowering.
100% Cotton.
