Description
A beautiful non-stretch denim with a visible woven texture that gives the fabric plenty of depth and character. The reverse is a much paler shade, creating a lovely contrast and highlighting the weave.
Soft and smooth to the touch, this is a particularly easy denim to sew. It has a versatile medium weight with enough body to hold its shape beautifully whilst still feeling comfortable and easy to wear.
This fabric is ideal for the current trend for barrel-leg jeans and trousers, where the fabric’s structure helps create the silhouette without feeling too stiff or heavy. It would also work beautifully for zip-front dresses such as McCall’s M8553 and the ever-popular Aspen Dress by Fabric Godmother, as well as pinafores, skirts and lightweight jackets.
A versatile denim that would be equally at home made into jeans, wide-leg trousers, cropped trousers, dresses, skirts, pinafores and jackets.
