An incredibly soft and luxurious jersey knit with a beautifully fluid drape and a lovely weight.
The very deep navy background – almost black, but not quite – is scattered with an abstract watercolour-style design in gorgeous shades of cobalt, ocean blue, soft aqua, muted lilac and touches of green. The colours gently bleed into one another, creating soft, irregular pebble-like shapes with a painterly quality.
At 240gsm, it feels wonderfully soft against the skin with a slightly warm, cosy feel, making it a lovely choice for the cooler months. Perfect for dresses, skirts, wide-leg trousers, tops, tunics and jumpsuits.
There is no elastane in the composition, however the knitted construction gives the fabric approximately 20% crosswise stretch from selvedge to selvedge. This gentle stretch comes entirely from the knit itself, which is worth bearing in mind when choosing your pattern.
