This beautiful linen and viscose blend gives you the best of both worlds!
You’ve got the breath ability and natural texture of linen (with that lovely subtle slub) but it is softened with viscose, so it drapes beautifully and doesn’t feel overly stiff. The viscose element also help helps reduce creasing, making it that little bit easier to wear. It’s also an absolute joy to sew!
The base is pale beige and chocolate brown yarn dyed weave, creating a soft marled effect, with a lovely depth to it. Running through the fabric is a very delicate gold lurex stripe - it’s incredibly fine and it just adds a gentle shimmer, rather than anything blingy or overly flash! Alongside that is a subtle pink stripe, which creates a modern twist on a classic pinstripe.
It’s really soft and fluid but it still holds enough structure to press neatly and keep it shape. It’s great if you need volume and tiers/gathers, making it perfect for dresses, wide legged trousers, skirts, tops or even a lightweight jacket.
