The Fabric Boutique Social Sewing Sessions.

Enjoy time with like-minded creative individuals in the warm and welcoming environment of The Fabric Boutique Sewing Studio that is new for 2025.

Bring along your sewing project and sewing kit and settle down to enjoy the use of brand-new Janome sewing machines, overlocker, iron/ironing board and refreshments. Sewing is much smoother with a tea/coffee, cake, chatter and laughter!

Social Social is perfect to while away a few hours, making new friends or catching up with familiar faces. The sewing community is a friendly group! Sharing ideas, advice and helpful hints and tips will elevate your sewing skills and confidence – all while having fun. Bouncing ideas off one another can be very inspirational. No matter what level sewing skill you are, you are always most welcome at The Fabric Boutique.

Although this is not a tutor led session and is purely social, there will be a member of staff present throughout your session to impart advice and help with the equipment.

The Fabric Boutique Sewing Studio is small but perfectly formed, although at present, we do not have a large cutting table. It is advisable to pre-cut fabric prior to arriving at the session. You will be fine with cutting patchwork and smaller items. So bring along whatever your heart desires – whether it be dressmaking, quilting, crafting, bag making etc

The studio is located within The Fabric Boutique at 71 Market Street, Ashby de la Zouch, so if you require any haberdashery, fabric, notions etc, you can easily pop into the shop.

Each session is 2 and a half hours long 10am till 12:30pm.

Pre booking is essential as places are limited. You can book via my website or please call into the shop. I’m afraid places can’t be reserved without payment.

Terms & Conditions

Please note that by reserving a place on a sewing social session, you will be agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

• Places on the Social Sewing sessions are reserved once payment has been made.
• Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
• The Fabric Boutique gift cards are redeemable, with payment in part or full for Social Sewing sessions.
• Bookings will be subject to our cancellation policy.
• Social sewing sessions will only run if there are sufficient numbers. A minimum of 3 places must be booked in order for the session to take place.
• Sewing Social sessions are for individuals aged 18 and over.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Should unforeseen circumstances arise or if minimum numbers of three have not been reached, The Fabric Boutique may need to cancel the session. In such circumstances, a full refund will be given.

Should you require to cancel for any reason the following applies;

• If you cancel up to 10 days before the date of the session, a full refund will be given. Alternatively, you may wish to transfer payment to another date (subject to availability).
• Unfortunately, if you cancel with less than 10 days before the date of the session, a refund will not be given.
• Should a refund be eligible, it will be issued immediately. Please allow up to a week for the money to appear back in your bank account.
