Wow! This fabulously fresh linen is ideal for hot summer days (which are hopefully just around the corner)!

This stunning fabric feels luxurious and smooth. You can see a very gentle slub texture to the weave that is typical of linen. It has a very gentle drape but holds some structure – perfect if you wish to make gathers, frills or ruffles. Equally, it will form crisp collars, cuffs and plackets.

The fresh minty stripe that runs parallel to the selvedge is delightful – it is fresh and modern. Each mint stripe is 8mm wide.

I can imagine some wonderful shirts, dresses and blouses being made up in this linen! I’d be tempted to play around with the stripe placement too for an added feature – perhaps horizontal stripes for pockets, for example?
