A wonderful fabric that’s perfect for the party season!

Jet black embroidery upon a fine net mesh. The embroidery is embellished with a tiny, delicate black sequin that catches the light – giving off a gentle shimmer. The selvedges are prettily scalloped.

This fabric will make a perfect overlay for a dress, skirt or top. Overlay upon a jet black velvet or silk for example for an elegant and classic evening look, or place upon a colour such as cerise pink, gold or emerald green for more vivid contrast.

Alternatively it will make a great cover-up, shrug or shawl if left sheer.

I have shared a photograph of my hand underneath the fabric so that you may see how sheer it is. I’ve also included photographs of this fabric upon my silk acetate blend in cerise pink and also up upon a jet black lining so that you may see the difference.

The sequins are small and delicate, so a microtex needle would be all that’s required to sew this fabric. I wouldn’t remove the sequins to sew.
