A beautiful quality cotton poplin with a delicate all over ditzy print.

Poplin is a plain-weave cotton fabric with very fine horizontal “ribs,” or yarns, that results in a strong, smooth fabric with a silky, lustrous surface. Perfect for making collars, cuffs, gathers, ruffles etc. Imagine a blouse/shirt, dress, skirt etc..Poplin will hold a gentle structure rather than drape. It’s soft and luxurious, so has a small degree of drape but it’s not floaty.

The print is a small, all over floral print in summery red upon a backdrop of white.  It’s fresh and quite subtle.  I think it will make fantastic garments for men, women and children. From crisp shirts and blouses to loose fitting tops, dresses, skirts, jumpsuits etc.
