Paper Pattern

The Tribeca blouse is a sewing pattern which, under its classic exterior, will give you the opportunity to let your creativity shine through. The pattern allows you to play with materials, colours and transparency of fabrics. Its cut-outs are well positioned to emphasize the bust. So many variations are available: as a blouse or a shirt, as a dress with or without buttons on the front, with or without a decorative bias to underline the yoke bands. The cut is slightly fitted, for a comfortable, feminine fit.

Sewing level : intermediate to advanced, the technical aspects are the meticulous fitting of the yokes and bias strips, the rip-stop sleeve slit with the assembly of the cuff for the buttoned cuff version and the fitting of the bias neckline, the button placket for the buttoned front dress/blouse version.

SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED (1 CM).

Please see photos of the back of pattern packet for measurements.

– 20 cm of iron-on interfacing G710
– 4 buttons of about 10-15 mm for the cuffs of the buttoned sleeve version of the classic blouse/dress
– 7 buttons of about 10-15 mm for the bust of the dress version
– 6 for the bust of the blouse

Choice of fabric: Light weight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less hold depending on the desired finish. Be careful, your fabric must mark well with an iron and not deform too much: viscose, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. Openwork fabrics will also be suitable for this style, especially since the neckline band is made with a bias.
